Choose your track

Our nordic offerings are designed to meet you where you areโ€”learn fundamentals, improve technique, or train with a community.

Nordic snow sports are defined by equipment where only the toe of the boot is attached to the ski, allowing for a “free heel”. The primary disciplines include Classic and skate cross-country skiingski jumping, and Nordic combined (which merges the two). Biathlon is closely related but governed separately. Other activities include Telemark skiingski orienteering, and ski touring.

Intro to Nordic

Technique Clinics

Focused sessions for classic and skate: timing, weight transfer, uphill efficiency, and downhill control.

Youth Nordic

Fun, skill-based coaching that builds confidence and endurance for kids and teens.

Adult Training Group

Weekly coached workouts with progressions for fitness, technique, and optional race preparation.

What to expect

Small groups, clear progressions, and plenty of on-snow feedbackโ€”so you leave with a plan you can use on every lap.

Bring warm layers, gloves, and water. Rentals are available if you donโ€™t have nordic gear yet. Weโ€™ll match terrain and pacing to conditions and ability.

Nordic program FAQs

Quick answers to help you get ready for your session.

Do I need prior experience?

No. We offer true beginner options and will place you in the right group.

Classic or skateโ€”what should I choose?

Classic is the easiest place to start. Skate is great for fitness once youโ€™re comfortable on skis.

Can I rent nordic equipment?

Yesโ€”rentals are available. Arrive early so we can fit boots and poles before your start time.

What should I wear?

Dress in breathable layers. Avoid bulky jackets; bring a light shell, gloves, and a hat or headband.

What happens if conditions change?

Weโ€™ll adjust terrain and lesson plans to match grooming and weather. Safety comes first.
